A month ago we were covering the official launch of Nokia N9. Nokia N9 is the first smartphone in the Finnish company’s portfolio to feature the brand new MeeGo operating system, but it seems that will also be the only one coming with this OS.
The news saying that Nokia N9 will be the only smartphone with MeeGo, made Nokia fans want it less, but a Nokia official assured the future customers of the device that the company will provide support for MeeGo, for a long period of time.
Although we expected Nokia N9, the first MeeGo smartphone to hit the market somewhere towards the end of the year, today we found out that N9 appeared in Russia, in the pre-order section of the Nokia official website.
We we first saw the specs of the new Nokia N9 we were not impressed: it comes with a 3.9-inch AMOLED display, 1GB of RAM, and 1GHz chipset, unfortunately not a member of the dual-core family. But once you look closer and see the browsing experience, the gesture control and the fluid user interface, you realize that Nokia N9 has all the requirements of a future sales hit.
Now that Nokia N9 is available for pre-order in Russia, we wonder when the MeeGo-powered device will hit other countries. The last time when the press rumored about Nokia N9, it was said that the device will be officially launched in September, with a price tag of $660 for the 16GB version of the smartphone.

Damn, can't wait to buy Nokia N9. It's simply the best smartphone Nokia ever made and if Nokia is stupid to use crappy Windows phone 7 for next phones it is likely to remain the best smartphone Nokia has made. I hope Nokia comes to their senses and goes forward with MeeGo OS, as I find it even better than Android.
ReplyDeleteWow, your point is very unique, I take your point of view into my article
