Nokia's first mobile phone will WindowsPhone7 starting in six European countries

SAN FRANCISCO, June 20, 2007, according to foreign media reports, Nokia Group Vice President Victor Saeijs recently said that Nokia's first Windows Phone 7 willdebut in six countries in Europe.

Nokia's vice president Victor Saeijs Eurasia in the Netherlands to participate in 2011 Telecompaper Mobile Congress, said that Nokia's first Windows Phone 7 phones will be the first in France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and the UK release.

Past two years, the European smart phone craze ushered in the smartphone market at an annual rate of 38% of rapid expansion, Google Android in the European market by leaps and bounds. According to market research firm IDC data, in the first quarterbased on the Android smart phone market in Europe accounted for 34% of the share,much higher than 8 percent a year ago. In contrast, Nokia's Symbian-based smart phone market share in Europe a year ago, but never 40% to 21%.

Industry stakeholders said that the Windows Phone 7 phones Nokia announced first in Europe, the intention is clear in the hope that the first open Windows Phone 7 phonesmart phone market penetration in Europe higher, to prevent companies falling market share decline.
